Exploring Overseas Sales Channels for K-Content and Related Industries in Thailand

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister BANG Moon Kyu, MOTIE), the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister CHUNG Hwang Keun, MAFRA), the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister CHO Seung Hwan, MOF), and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister LEE Young, MSS), will host the “K-EXPO THAILAND 2023” from November 9 (Thur) to 12 (Sun) in Bangkok, Thailand. The event is organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (President JO Hyun Rae, KOCCA), the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (President & CEO YU Jeoung Yeol, KOTRA), the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (CEO KIM Chun Jin, aT), the Small & medium Business Distribution Center (CEO LEE Tae Sik, SBDC), and the Korea International Trade Association (Chairman KOO Ja Yeol, KITA).

Selection of 30 Barrier-Free Tourist Destinations for 2024, Ensuring Tour for All

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST) in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (CEO KIM Jang Sil, KTO) has chosen 30 tourist destinations across 12 tourism zones for the “2024 Barrier-Free Tourist Destination Project.” This marks a 150% increase in scale compared to the 20 sites selected last year.

Second Vice Minister JANG Mi Ran Inspected Renovated Facilities at Gangwon 2024

On November 7 (Tue), JANG Mi Ran, the Second Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, visited the sites in Pyeongchang and Hoengseong, two of the four cities in Gangwon Province chosen to host the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games (Gangwon 2024), to inspect the upgraded facilities. With only 73 days remaining until Gangwon 2024 begins, scheduled for January 19 to February 1, Second Vice Minister JANG meticulously assessed the facilities.
