The participation fee is KRW 10,000, which will be refunded in the form of Onnuri gift certificates after the event.
Walk Through Dutayeon to Reflect on the History of Division and the Meaning of Peace, and Explore Nearby Cultural and Tourism Sites in Yanggu
Participants will have the opportunity to walk Course 26 of the DMZ Peace Trail. The course includes Dutayeon, renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery. A representative ecotourism site located within the Civilian Control Zone, Dutayeon preserves clear streams and pristine, primeval landscapes. In particular, as a route that once led to Jangansa Temple on Mount Kumgang before the division of the Korean Peninsula, it is known in Yanggu as the “Road to Mount Kumgang,” making it a symbolic place where visitors can experience both the history of division and the meaning of peace.
In addition, singer Sean will accompany participants and offer encouragement during the event. All those who complete the course will receive a commemorative medal. After the walking event, a program to tour Yanggu’s signature cultural and tourism sites—the Yanggu Porcelain Museum and the Park Soo Keun Museum—will also be offered via advance registration, allowing participants to further experience the region’s appealing cultural and tourism resources and encouraging return visits to Yanggu.
