“Seoul International Book Fair 2023” Leaps Forward as a Global Platform for Publishing Exchange and Marketing

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) and the Korean Publishers Association (Chairman YOON Chul Ho, KPA) host the “Seoul International Book Fair 2023” at COEX (Gangnam-gu, Seoul) from June 14 (Wed) to 18 (Sun). This year’s book fair, which is the 65th since its first inception in 1954, aims to promote the charm of K-books on a global scale, going beyond Asia and becoming a central hub for international publishing exchange and a platform for marketing advancement. The event is expanded compared to last year, breaking free from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A New Exhibition of Ancient Greek and Roman Art & Culture in the Permanent Exhibition Hall of the National Museum of Korea: Separate But Inseparable: Mythology and Culture of Ancient Greece and Rome

The National Museum of Korea (Director Yoon Sung-Yong) proudly announces its new exhibition Separate But Inseparable: Mythology and Culture of Ancient Greece and Rome, which will be held in the newly established Ancient Greece and Rome Gallery in the Permanent Exhibition Hall for the next four years, from June 15, 2023, to May 30, 2027. This exhibition is jointly organized with the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria, which houses a world-renowned collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (President KIM Jang Sil, KTO) hosted the “K-Tourism Roadshow” from June 8 (Thur) to 10 (Sat) at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the largest craft and design museum in the United Kingdom, and Outernet London, targeting the summer vacation tourism demand to celebrate the “2023–2024 Visit Korea Year.”

“Stories of Our Presidents” Contained in Typewriter, Running shoes, and Reading Table

In celebration of the first anniversary of its opening, a unique presidential history exhibition, “Stories of Our Presidents: The Presidents Were Here,” is now held at Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House), which has been returned to the citizens. Through an exhibition that sheds light on former presidents, Cheong Wa Dae is brimming with life as it showcases its original dignity and values that resonate with the people, remaining true to its character.
