The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST) together with the Korea Creative Content Agency (Director CHO Hyun Rae, KOCCA) will hold the 2023 Korea Content Awards Ceremony at the National Museum of Korea on December 13 (Wed) and present government awards and certificates to 38 people and outstanding content that have contributed to the development of the Korean content industry this year.

On December 11 (11:30 a.m., local time), Minister YU In Chon of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) met with Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro PAROLIN at the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran in Italy to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Holy See. The parties discussed ways to promote cultural cooperation and participate in events commemorating the institution of diplomatic relations, such as special masses, special photo exhibitions, and celebratory performances.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (CEO KIM Jang Sil, KTO), celebrated Visit Korea Year 2023–2024 and hosted the 2023 K-Link Festival at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul on Sunday, December 10, at 6:00 p.m. Second Vice Minister JANG Mi Ran visited the site to oversee the performance with 7,000 domestic and foreign audiences, including tourists, and enthusiastically supported the K-pop singers’ acts.

The Minister offered words of encouragement to the volunteers and participants, expressing hopes for a resounding success.
