오늘 이 뜻깊은 자리를 만들어주신 MBC 최문순 사장님, 금호아시아나 박삼구 회장님, 국민일보 조민제 사장님,

멀리서 와주신 Zarine Mehta 뉴욕필 단장님과 Lin Maazel 지휘자님,

그리고 내외 귀빈 여러분!




First of all, I would like to give a hearty welcome to the New Yk Philharmonic Orchestra, who are present here tonight f the histical perfmance in the Kean peninsula sincerely congratulate NY Phils successful perfmance in Nth Kea.




먼저 역사적인 남북 공연을 위해 방문해 주신 뉴욕필하모닉 관계자 여러분을 환영하며 북한에서의 성공적인 공연 개최를 진심으로 축하드립니다.




Many of our guests shared with me the deep meaning powerful emotions that this perfmance holds, but I feel this event even me special, as the Minister who oversees culture arts of the Republic of Kea.




많은 분들께서 앞서서 이번 공연이 갖는 의미와 감동을 전해주셨는데, 대한민국의 문화예술계 수장인 저에게는 이번 공연(사건)이 더욱 특별하게 여겨집니다.




Dvaks "New Wld Symphony" perfmed in the East Pyongyang GrTheater in Nth Kea heated up our hearts with new emotions joy. The perfmance showed us the power of music role of arts.




북한 동평양극장에 울려퍼진 드보르작의 신세계는 새로운 감동과 환희로 우리의 마음을 뜨겁게 달구었습니다. 음악의 힘, 예술의 역할을 잘 보여주었습니다.




I believe that the perfmance created an opptunity to open up our minds to feel communicate with each other. It also showed us the power of communication reconciliation beyond the territial bders political ideologies, leaving us with a far greater social call sense of pride as artists than ever of the past.




마음의 문을 열고 교감하고 대화할 수 있는 자리를 만들어 국경과 이념을 넘어 소통과 화해의 힘을 유감없이 발휘해 준 이번 공연으로 예술과 예술인의 사회적 사명과 자긍심은 더할 나위 없이 높아졌다고 생각합니다.




Above all things, I expect that this event will be a step toward exping the dialogue not only between the two Keas, but also between Nth Kea the rest of the wld.




무엇보다 이번 공연을 계기로 남북한뿐만 아니라 북한과 세계와의 대화는 더욱 확대되리라 기대됩니다. 여러 관계자분의 고귀한 노력에 진심으로 감사를 드리며 경의를 표합니다.
