of the Korean film industry, it was a great honor to be able to attend one of Asia’s most prestigious film festivals, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The BIFF’s 21st edition took place from Oct. 6 to 15, 2016. Foreign visitors and cinephiles alike couldn't hide their excitement upon reaching the main venue for the annual festival: the Busan Cinema Center, located in the vicinity of Centum City Station in Busan.
The Korean Embassy in Nigeria, alongside the Korean Cultural Center in Nigeria, co-hosted the 2016 Korean Culture Festival in the capital, Abuja, from Nov. 8 to 12. A cross-cultural performance kicked off the five-day festival, followed by samples of Korean food, a seminar on traditional Korean cuisine and a Korean film festival.

Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival is a landmark festivity held every October at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site built to commemorate King Jeongjo’s filial piety and dream for national prosperity and military power.
During the festival, a wide variety of events will be held, including activity programs such as an herb slicing contest and writing, cooking, and singing contests. Other highlights on the festival calendar include traditional performances and a taekwondo demonstration. Visitors can also enjoy free herbal tea, food, and rice cakes and will be able to buy a variety of herbs at low prices.
Bukcheon Cosmos and Buckwheat Festival is one of the best autumn festivals in Hadong-gun, a district located in Jikjeon-ri, Bukcheon-myeon.
