The highly anticipated global Hallyu festival, “2025 MyK FESTA”, is set to kick off this June.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), in cooperation with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, will host the first “2025 MyK FESTA” from June 19 (Thursday) to 22 (Sunday) at Olympic Park in Seoul.

Bringing together both domestic and international Hallyu fans, as well as experts and stakeholders from various K-content sectors, the event will feature a wide range of programs, including K-pop concerts, international conferences, industry exhibitions, and export consultations.

“2025 MyK FESTA” serves as a platform for cultural and industrial exchange, introducing global Hallyu fans to a wide spectrum of K-content, including K-pop and OTT media, as well as the latest lifestyle trends and related industries. This mega event offers Hallyu fans the opportunity to directly experience Korean culture, while also providing domestic and international businesses with prospects for market expansion and global networking.

Additional attractions such as exhibitions, hands-on experiences, K-food Pop-Up Stores, and Export Consultations zones will be held at the Handball Stadium and Haneol Plaza

From June 19 to 22, the Handball Stadium will host exhibition and experience zones featuring over 100 Korean companies across diverse fields in drama, webtoons, food, and lifestyle.

In addition, the stadium’s hallways will turn into a large-scale photo exhibition spotlighting popular Korean actors and photo zones where visitors can take commemorative pictures.

At Haneol Plaza in Olympic Park, leading K-Food brands will open pop-up stores, offering international visitors a chance to experience the authentic taste of Korea—beyond what they’ve seen only through videos.

In addition, during the festival period, the ministry will run a free shuttle bus service three times a day for international visitors, connecting Olympic Park and DDP, where the Korea Beauty Festival will also be held.

Furthermore, this year’s festival has been organized in conjunction with Hallyu-related events hosted by four local governments—Busan, Cheonan, Gyeongju, and Yeosu—maximizing the overall impact through regional collaboration.

“2025 MyK FESTA” promises an immersive cultural experience that brings the heart of Korean wave directly to global audiences.
