Additionally, the Research Institute for Library and Information within the National Library of Korea was reorganized into the Archives Preservation and Research Center. The Serials & Government Publications Division was dismantled when the Archives Division was created. These reorganization efforts were intended to improve the work efficiency of the National Library of Korea.
