Support offices and divisions of the Planning & Coordination Office

Carries out various services such as establishment and coordination of important policies and task plans, compilation and execution of the budget, comprehensive support of the creative innovation tasks, management of organization and manpower, examination and analysis of major projects, drafting and examination of administrative laws, establishment of the basic plan for cultural information and administrative information, synthesis and adjustment of the statistics, implementation of self-evaluation for statistics quality, preparation for national emergency, etc.
Spokesperson: Plans, adjusts, negotiates, supports nationwide promotion of the Ministry’s major policies; manages information and circumstances regarding the policy promotion; assists the media to cover the Ministry’s affairs; and gives briefing on the issues of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Inspector General: Performs inspections on the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and its related organizations, inspection on other public institutions; resolves the result of inspection conducted on the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and its related organizations and public institutions by other institutions; resolves matters of audit and inspection; inquires and resolves appeals and unlawful acts; analyzes the causes of unlawful acts and maintain statistics on inspections; enforces policy to prevent corruption and operates a code of conduct; processes property registration and screening as well as military reports of its public service employees; and other operation instruction given by the minister regarding inspections.
Planning and Coordination Office: Plans, adjusts policies and other main task; plans, executes and adjusts budget; manages and supports creative innovation projects; manages organization structure and personnel; inspects and analyzes major projects; drafts and inspects organization and administration laws and ordinances; draft the basic plans for culture informatization and process the informatization of administrations; integrates, adjusts and performs self-diagnosis of statistic work ; performs duties for national emergency preparation.
Personnel Affairs Division: Hires, promotes, and changes the post of public service employees; develops staff’s skill through training and education; innovates Human Resource/Rewarding/Management system; and composes and retains statistics regarding HR operations.
Operational Assistance Division: Secures the seal and history list; sorts, sends, receives and controls documents; deals with civil appeals; manages recordings and administration data; purchases and procures goods; manages national property and goods; manages, accounts, and settles capital accounts; manages, maintains, and protects government buildings; and attends to other affairs that do not falls under the jurisdiction of other offices/divisions or section officer.
